I’ve been thinking about particles as I prepare for next year’s exhibition. Gathering, flowing, accumulating, vibrating.

生命が環境に応答し続けてきた長い時間のなかで、 私たちは何を受け継ぎ、 何を渡していくのだろう。

Across the long span of time in which life has kept responding to its surroundings, what have we inherited, and what will we pass on?

“やがて、 飴色に満ちる”　 探求してきた生命のリズムに、 群馬で出会った養蚕文化や蚕の生命活動が重なり、 生まれた展示です。

And Then—Filled with Amber The exhibition brings together the rhythms of life explored through the resp. series with the culture of sericulture and the lives of silkworms I encountered in Gunma.

昨日、 POLA GINZAでの個展 『 午時葵の子守唄 A Lullaby for Cistus 』 が開幕いたしました。 静けさの中で進行する目に見えない運動を、 これまで以上に可視化する構成を試みています。

My solo exhibition, A Lullaby for Cistus, opened yesterday at POLA GINZA. I’m experimenting with a spatial composition that brings the invisible movements unfolding in stillness more clearly into view.

それぞれの物体は均衡を探るようにしなり、 戻りながら、 同じ運動を反復し続けます。

Each element bends and returns as if searching for equilibrium, repeating the same motion again and again.
